OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE As a (Senior) Agency Account Manager, you will play a key role in growing and managing a portfolio of media agency clients, fostering strong relationships to ensure long-term success. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering exceptional service while driving the adoption of Adnami’s high-impact advertising technology, video formats as well as measurement and verification solutions. Through proactive engagement and a deep understanding of client needs, you will contribute to the continued growth and success of Adnami in the DACH market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow, manage and cultivate existing accounts and leads in the DACH market.
  • Source and proactively pitch and acquire new partnerships in order to activate campaigns within the DACH market.
  • Optimize and contribute to the scalability of account management processes for agency accounts.
  • Resolve client issues in an efficient, tactful manner and support them with solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on delivering client-centric solutions and incorporating market feedback.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in high-impact advertising, attention metrics, and programmatic activation, providing guidance to clients and internal teams.

WHO YOU ARE You are a team player, curious and passionate about technology. You have a positive, solution-oriented mindset which shines through in your communication both internally and externally. You have digital and sales experience, probably from another publisher, media agency, AdTech company or tech vendor from which you have generated a wide network.

Besides this, we also expect that you:

  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the digital media industry
  • A great understanding of the programmatic digital advertising ecosystem
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbally), with negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Speak and write German and English fluently
  • Great skills in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
  • Motivated by working a dynamic and fast moving environment
  • A wide media network in Germany or strong motivation build it up
  • Willing to travel regularly to Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna for in person meetings with agencies, and happy to engage in industry and evening events
  • Reside in Hamburg
  • Sales experience from another tech vendor, publisher or media agency is a big plus
