Adnami is growing rapidly, which means that we are looking for an Agency Account Director to join our lovely and well-established team and lead our agency development efforts in the German market. OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE As the Agency Account Director for Germany you will drive revenue growth by scaling key accounts and establishing new business with high-potential agency groups. Your role is to position Adnami as the go-to solution for media agencies especially when buying high-impact formats programmatically.

You will act as a strategic partner, promoting Adnami’s innovative advertising solutions, including high impact, video, streaming, and attention-measurement, to meet agency and client objectives. Working independently, you will identify opportunities, understand client needs, and craft tailored solutions within Adnami's capabilities to deliver exceptional results.

Building and nurturing strong relationships with agencies is a core part of this role. You will contribute to elevating our already high standards of client service by embodying our commitment to being helpful and reliable, ensuring we consistently exceed client expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Introduce, negotiate and establish media agency trade agreements
  • Manage and cultivate existing agency relationships
  • Contribute to scalable account management operations for agency accounts
  • Educate and inspire planners and traders to run high impact campaigns
  • Maintain oversight of your revenue forecasts and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded
  • Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on delivering client-centric solutions and incorporating market feedback
  • Provide proactive communication to agencies about our new products, growing publisher relations and seamless buying process
  • Host webinars, seminars and training sessions within the media agency groups

REQUIREMENTS You are a team player, curious and passionate about technology. You have a positive, solution-oriented mindset which shines through in your communication both internally and externally. You have digital experience, probably from another publisher, media agency, AdTech company or tech vendor from which you have generated a wide network. Besides this, we also expect that you come equipped with the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the digital media industry
  • A great understanding of the programmatic digital advertising ecosystem
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbally), negotiation and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English & German (written and spoken)
  • Great skills in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
  • Motivated by working a dynamic and fast moving environment
  • Consultative sales approach and high solution orientation
  • Willing to travel regularly to Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna for in person meetings with agencies, and happy to engage in industry and evening events
  • Extensive media agency network in Germany
  • Reside in Düsseldorf or Hamburg
