People Partner (Fixed-term contract)

📢 About The Role We are looking for a hands‑on People & Culture Partner (fixed-term contract) who enjoys working closely with employees, managers, and the business. You will be reporting to the CFO and working closely with management.
You will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to daily HR support, wellbeing, and offboarding. From day one, you will be involved in practical HR work that supports both employees and managers in their everyday work.
Please note that this position is offered as maternity cover and is therefore a fixed-term contract, with starting date in September 2026.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Employee lifecycle & recruitment
- Handle onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain accurate employee data and records
Day‑to‑day HR & manager support
- Be a visible and approachable point of contact for employees and managers
- Support managers with everyday people topics, feedback, and employee situations
- Answer HR‑related questions clearly and reliably
HR operations, wellbeing & compliance
- Work daily with HR systems, records, and processes
- Support employee wellbeing, engagement, and retention
🥇 What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or People & Culture
- Hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable handling a fast‑paced, operational HR role
- Comfortable taking ownership of the full employee lifecycle and running HR work end‑to‑end
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
